You may not see an immediate response, but calls to this number are logged and passed on to NSW Police Marine Area Command and Fisheries/Marine Park Management. This enables policing authorities to organise resources to actively monitor and police problem areas.
Funding for compliance oversight by NSW Police Marine Area Command, Transport and Fisheries/Marine Park Management is directly tied to the number of reported incidents so please call in poor behaviour.
If there is an emergency and serious threat to human life don’t hesitate to call 000 in addition to Transport.
